　　Hardware Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

　　Work with end users to understand system use cases to help guide validation

　　Ensure a tight loop between hardware qualification and the final application use models

　　Work on all aspects of silicon productization from early architecture and design inputs to pre-silicon validation to bring-up and post-silicon characterization

　　Engage with the design team to ensure quality and debuggability are built into the design

　　Support architecture team with insights from performance and power characterization to guide future improvements

　　Work with the verification team to enable a comprehensive pre and post-silicon test plan

　　Write tests, create bare metal operating systems, and enable frameworks that allow the reuse and scale testing from pre-silicon platforms to many ASICs during the post-silicon phase

　　Build and maintain extensive lab automation

　　$196,980.00/year to $221,000.00/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. 　　Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a design engineering-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:

　　ASIC design, development, or validation

　　Python, C/C++, and Verilog/System Verilog

　　Linux systems and server systems management

　　Embedded systems’ architecture and components

　　Performance optimization of algorithms

　　Tool chains: VCS, Palladium, Protium, Zebu, Veloce, Cadence, Mentor, or Synopsys

　　Industry: Internet
