This role embodies the luxury lifestyle experience, has a passion for exceptional hotel service and, can express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity.TheGroup Sales Manageris responsible for prospecting and business development to effectively sell guest rooms and banquets to group and meeting planners.

　　Conduct site inspections, execute sales trips, and represent the hotel at trade shows

　　Client entertainment for potential and existing clientele to develop, strengthen and maintain relationships.

　　Prioritize leads response; prepare and present effective proposals, RFPs and contracts.

　　Maintain well organized documentation and reports, including group booking notes for each stage of the booking cycle.

　　Create and implement strategic quarterly sales action plans to meet and/or exceed quarter sales goals.

　　Deliver high-touch, high-level service to all accounts, and work closely with Operations, Event Planning and Banquets to ensure an exceptional experience.

　　Leverage Hyatt’s tools, systems, network and database to drive results.

　　Actively participate in strategy and sales meetings, provide support for Menu Readings and Resume Meetings.

　　All other duties as assigned by leadership.

　　Qualifications:

　　A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

　　Refined verbal and written communication skills

　　A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred

　　Must be proficient in general computer knowledge

　　Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training

　　Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
