　　Who You Are

　　As a senior level product manager, you have a minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years building data platforms within a data discipline.You are well-versed on the data landscape with deep understanding of the various developer disciplines (engineering, ML, data science etc.) and have the real know-how to take a forward looking concept and bring it into reality, making it tangible and concrete for a scaling organization. You are empathetic and can put yourself in the shoes of the customer to identify opportunities to innovate and deliver solutions that improve the way our customers work.

　　As a Group Product Manager, Data Services, you will drive the strategic direction of our data stack, playing a pivotal role in enabling platform features that drive developer velocity, innovation and self-service. You’ll partner with our engineering leads to promote a shared vision of the future and motivate teams towards building solutions, with a deep understanding of the why and the what, inspiring their ownership of the how. You’ll promote short-term goals with a test-and-learn mindset, without compromising long-term strategy.

What You Will Work On

　　Refine the vision and strategy for our core Data/ML platform, inclusive of data ingestion, processing and serving, pipelines, data governance and security compliances, data analytics and visualization tooling, feature stores and data warehouse that powers our various teams for experimentation, operational excellence, and high resolution insights.

　　Build deep institutional and marketplace knowledge of the myriad solutions within the modern data stack landscape

　　Help to define and socialize a platform vision and strategy with stakeholders and direct working team

　　Bring your solutions to market through ownership of the full product lifecycle: problem identification, solution design, spec, implementation and validation

　　Create frameworks for your cross-functional team to prioritize and execute against capabilities, end-user features and internal tools - balancing customer needs with business goals.

　　Define and measure OKRs that align with Justworks’ broader business objectives

　　Continuously prioritize needs of customers and internal stakeholders, and reassess as needed

　　Communicate product priorities to leadership and stakeholders across the organization, making the case with evidence-based decision making

　　Develop, mentor, and lead a growing team of data pms

　　Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

　　Minimum of 8 years of experience in a platform product management capacity at a technology-driven organization 

　　Minimum of 5 years within a data discipline - data product management, data engineering and/or data science

　　Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Product Managers

　　Experience working on large scale platforms or infrastructures and building integrations

　　Demonstrated track record of building and shipping successful products in an agile environment with demonstrated impact

　　Experience owning complex products with large surface areas and lived experience making difficult prioritization and investment decisions

　　Excellent communication skills, including presentation and writing skills

　　Strong understanding of SaaS SMB products with the ability to learn the Justworks domains quickly (benefits, payments, health insurance, HR, etc)

　　Proficiency in SQL; Python a nice to have

　　The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $190,000.00 to $218,500.00 per year.

　　Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
