The GPD will lead all aspects of Patient Marketing & Strategy across the brands in the U.S. prostate cancer market with an eye for expanding further across the GU portfolio. This individual will be responsible for a small team of marketers focused on the patient, caregiver and patient care team audiences. This person will be accountable for meeting key strategic objectives of the brand, and contributing to revenue performance in the U.S.
Responsibilities
The GPD will be directly responsible for all aspects of the prostate/brand patient experience including brand education to patients/caregivers, DTP/DTC advertising, and advocacy relations. The GPD will be responsible for strategies to improve both start and stay aspects of the patient experience, where the patient care team members are a critical stakeholder. This individual will also be responsible for partnering with the GPD Market Access and Patient Access Solutions team to ensure optimal access and financial support for the brand patients.
Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Partner across brand GPDs and key PECS & SCG partners to address affordability and access pain points and develop prioritized solutions targeting patient and patient care team key stakeholders
Partner with Access Services to manage patient cost support programs and CarePath offering Lead patient experience strategy to create a competitive advantage for brand
Develop and oversee execution of patient education strategy, including media and digital strategy, asset creation (branded and unbranded)
Lead development of integrated and multi-channel DTP/DTC campaign
Manage consumer/patient agency of record and other specialty agencies
Partner with Advocacy team to implement advocacy strategy and integrate across HCP and Payer maximize value of those partnerships
Partner with PR/Communications team on external communications initiatives and signature campaigns related to patients
Manage Patient Experience budget, including team budget management
Oversee tactical execution of direct reports; Provide coaching, development, and day-to-day management of direct report.
This individual must demonstrate strong leadership presence through influencing without authority with high-level management, detailed orientation, and excellent strategic thinking. This position requires extensive interactions with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Postgraduate qualification, PhD, MBA, or other graduate degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of business experience with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated in-line marketing, sales or sales management/training experience executing marketing strategy is required.
A demonstrated ability to partner and work with multiple agencies/vendors, manage budgets and projects, cross-functionally, and with cross-company teams of high-level managers and executives is required.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.
Demonstrated ability to formally manage, coach, and develop direct reports is strongly preferred.
Prior experience in patient/consumer marketing and oncology is preferred.
Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
Senior brand responsibility, people management, product launch, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical development is preferred.
This position is in Horsham, PA and requires up to 25% travel.
