　　Summary of Position:

　　Reporting to the Ferris State University Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications or their delegate, the Graphic Designer will be a member of the Communications team at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD). The highly organized, articulate, and detail-oriented graphic designer will have a fundamental understanding of design and design processes, and be knowledgeable in the principles and techniques of design, typography, illustration, image assessment, production, marketing, branding, writing and editing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to concept, layout, design and production of original marketing and advertising materials, both print and digital, to create and enhance KCAD's visual identity. Work on student recruitment projects is prioritized, but work may also include other projects for KCAD or Ferris State University Marketing and Communications.
