  BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated GrantsSpecialist for an opportunity in Phoenix, AZ

  Position Title: Grants Specialist

  Location: Phoenix, AZ

  Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

  Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforwardwill send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

  Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract

  Job Type: FULL TIME Contract

  Pay Range: [25.00/hr.] - [27.00/hr.]

  Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due tofactors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and doesnot encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paidtime off, per diem, etc.).

  Job Description

  Under general supervision, the position will assure compliance withFederal and State grant requirements, verify documentation, and assistwith reporting of accomplishments. The position will be responsible forgrant management, communication with vendor/sub-grantee, datacollection, and project tracking. Other duties include maintaining andpreparing financial or project documents and collecting criticalinformation needed to account for funding purposes. 20% - Assurecompliance with Federal and State grant requirements, verifydocumentation, and assist with reporting of accomplishments. 40% - Grantmanagement, communication with vendor/sub-grantee, data collection,project tracking, and grant reimbursement review and processing. 25% -Maintaining and preparing financial or project documents and collectingcritical information needed to account for funding purposes. 10% -Regularly report progression and project status to DFFM management. 5% -Other duties as assigned as related to the position.

  Skills:

  Interpersonal communication and problem-solving methods. - Managementskills. - Effective report writing and presentation developmentpractices providing clear statement and objectives. - Communication oftechnical information and instruction in simple written or oral terms. -Conduct one-on-one or group project exercise and instruction.

  Work independently and/or collectively with colleagues, clients andunit. - Adapt to changing environments and new techniques. - Plan andorganize work efficiently. - Establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with others. - Communicate verbally or written. - Travelwithin the state with some overnight stay.

  Experience:

  Grants and agreement managementDetailed and organized, able to process and maintain accuracy onseveral grants at once.Communication of technical information and instruction in simplewritten or oral terms.Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and policies asthey pertain to grants.Adapt to changing environments and new techniques. Plan and organizework efficiently.Grants and Project Management experience relating to forestry ornatural resource management.Benefits:
