Description
Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Grants and AR Accountant to join the finance team with a great non-profit client in the North Canton area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing grants, overseeing accounts receivable, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization.
Your responsibilities:
Grants Management:
Administer the full lifecycle of grants, from application and approval to financial reporting and compliance.
Collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate budgeting and financial tracking for grant-funded projects.
Monitor grant expenditures and prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Accounts Receivable:
Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and account balances.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports related to grants and accounts receivable for management review.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and audits.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in grants management and accounts receivable.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
