How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
This position reports directly to a Director in the Government Affairs Department. The candidate will perform extensive research and analysis that will focus on foreign policy and international organizations, and compile and report on data determined by the field and scope of the assignment/project to aid the Government Affairs staff. Candidate will exhibit the results of research in a presentation format, prepare programs for data entry and statistical analysis, follow up on projects that have been conducted, perform routine data analysis, and verify and correct data entry. Assignments are completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner while ensuring the methods conform to company standards. Candidate practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Ideal candidate will develop both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Qualified candidate must be enrolled as a graduate degree-seeking, current/active student in an accredited graduate program at a college and/or university.
Must be able to work onsite at our Washington D.C. office for the duration of the internship.
Candidate must be detail-oriented, can communicate effectively and legibly with all levels of personnel, very organized, and demonstrated ability with information gathering, data collection; problem solving; innovation/creativity.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
