  JOB SUMMARY:

  This is a Government Operations Consultant II position in the General Tax Administration Program (GTA), Business Technology Office, Project Management Office. The incumbent is responsible for setting up and coordinating testing for medium to large projects that support GTA’s strategic plan, which includes legislative, process improvements, and system enhancement projects. The incumbent demonstrates effective organization, team building, and communication skills, creates test plans, and trains staff in testing software. Additional duties include project management of small to mid-sized projects and assisting in the management of the legislative analysis process for the Business Technology Office.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  One year experience performing testing or managing testing activities related to Integration/Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, and Regression Testing for IT projects.

  One year experience using Microfocus/HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software.

  PREFERENCES:

  Possession of a Quality Assurance or Software Testing certification.

  One year experience creating IT system process flows using VISIO or similar software.

  One year experience providing one-on-one or group training (in person or virtual).

  SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,606.32 monthly/$55,275.84 annually.
