Amazon is seeking an innovative Global Stock Plan Services Analyst to join the Global Financial and Wellness Benefits Team. This hands-on Seattle based individual contributor role will focus on stock plan administration. This position reports into the Manager of Global Stock Operations and will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver equity to Amazon employees worldwide.This position is focused on four key areas: (1) managing the daily activity of stock administration, including data analytics, reporting, executing and auditing transactions, 2) managing the day-to-day transactional relationship with our internal partners and external vendors, (3) executing the stock policies and documenting practices related to daily administration, and (4) managing and responding to global payroll teams, HR business partners, and employee customers.Qualified candidates will have experience executing day-to-day stock plan activities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to work through ambiguity, and a commitment to high quality work with impeccable customer service.Key job responsibilities- Manage processing of RSU releases and stock option exercises for employees worldwide, working directly with Amazon's stock plan providers to ensure transactions are processed accurately- Data management/error reconciliation between Amazon HR systems and the Stock team's Equity Management System (EMS)- Manage day-to-day activity with Amazon's stock plan provider(s)- Reconcile stock transactions to ensure accurate income reporting/tax withholding globally- Partner with internal corporate teams to provide required reporting and support including HR, legal, payroll, tax and accounting- Assist with the development and implementation of procedures and practices to better enable efficiency, accuracy and timely processing of equity- Respond to inquiries from employees, internal and external teams- Provide guidance, assess risk, resolve issues, and escalate as appropriate for employees, managers and HR globally- Support defining system requirements, creating test plans, test scripts and conduct system testing- Provides tactical and analytic support to management.- Ad-hoc projects as assigned.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USA- Bachelor's degree- 2+ years of equity or related work experience in a public company- Strong analytical and data gathering skills (including Excel and database analysis), comfortable working with large amounts of information and communicating data findings, experience tracking and reporting program metrics to all levels of the organization- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation- Experienced professionally with full understanding of industry practices and will quickly learn company policies and procedures;- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and drive projects to successful implementation- Exercises high judgment, particularly in narrow time frames- Ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written response to express it.- Flexibility, sharp organizational and process-oriented skills, and a self-starting work ethic- Strong business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to solving complex problemsPursuant to the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and
