　　Global Programs Shared Vision:

　　Global Programs is a newly defined leadership and management unitcomposed of the CEO, Chief of Mission Effectiveness, 3 Sr. VicePresidentsof Programs (Africa, Asia, Americas) and the Director of USAprogram with the aim of establishing a shared leadership and ownershipfor programs. It will develop and strengthen the programmatic model witha focus on Sustainable Locally Led Development (SLLD), will promotecollaboration between programs, develop a collaboration model fordecision-making, distributed accountability, effective communication,and continuous learning. This position will foster a collaborativeapproach to leadership with emphasize on teamwork, communication, andempowerment. The main responsibilities for the new role of GlobalPrograms Liaison will be coordination, articulation, and integration.

　　FUNCTION

　　The Global Programs Liaison will help create conditions for improvedcollaboration, alignment, and mutual support among Heifer RegionalProgram (Africa, Asia, Americas, and USA). This role will perform adiverse set of tasks that include but are not limited to:improvingshared vision and leadership of the Global Programs unit, strengtheningand driving learning across the regions through cross pollination ofideas and knowledge, follow through on implementation of cross regionalcollaborations, meeting facilitation and follow up,coordination ofthematic areas, action itemsandcoordinating reports, procedures, andprocesses. The Global Programs Liaison will report to the chair whichwill rotate annually among Regional Programs.
