What you'll do:
Job Location- New York City, NY- role requires to be in NYC office 3 days a week.
The purpose of this position is to run a large portfolio or client account and provide senior technical and operational support to the account staff for the development of policies and procedures pertaining to all types of buildings led by CBRE: including handling the performance of mechanical and maintenance staff/systems and maintaining continuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties. Critical experience needed for the role.
Responsible for business unit's financial performance in an account.
Provides recommendations for tactical planning.
Responsible for new business development, including identification of opportunities, client solicitation, proposal development, and presentation. Anticipates and responds to client's needs.
Handles the planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
Coordinates and approves the calculation of all special billings.
Leads the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.
Ensures the delivery of accuracy, timely, and complete reports.
Performs regular inspections of properties.
Recommends alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of properties.
Other duties as assigned.
Administers the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. Could be lead a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Recommends team to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and performance and retention. Models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training. Master's degree (MA/MS) preferred. Previous supervisory experience required.
Professional designation such as CPM, RPA, or CCIM preferred. Active real estate license may be required. Professional Engineer (PE) is desired.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to respond to issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to partner with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial budget.
Ability to tackle problems and take care of a variety of options in various situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills with shown experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system.
Working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Understanding of leases, contracts and related documents.
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division goals. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work. This includes but is not limited to:
Complete required and assigned HSE training at a satisfactory level,
Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.
Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if required.
While adhering to all HSE requirements established for CBRE employees, supervisors and managers are additionally required to:
a. Provide sufficient distraction-free time for employees to complete all required HSE training & support the HSE training program implicitly,
b. Investigate and resolve (if possible) all reported unsafe conditions / acts and communicate results back to the affected partners,
c. Support "stop work" authority when it is exercised in good faith,
d. Communicates any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $250,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
