  Exciting Opportunity for a Global Commercial Lead in Industrial IoT

  We are searching for an experienced Global Commercial Lead to join our Data Driven Advantage team based in Renfrew.

  Join our team and take charge of defining and steering the global commercial strategy for industrial IoT. As the Global Commercial Lead, you'll oversee the entire commercialisation process. Your role involves crafting and executing strategies, from identifying customer needs to launching new digital services in the market and conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure optimum customer value.

  You'll take ownership of the opportunities funnel, collaborating with regional sales teams on campaigns, proposals, customer interactions, and service agreement discussions to drive sales.

  Meeting targets is essential, and you'll ensure the realisation of annual DDA targets and sales budgets. You'll also spearhead the development and testing of innovative value-selling methodologies, transferring successful methods throughout the global organization.

  This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week. We offer hybrid working for this role which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices which include free onsite parking.

  What Needs To Be Done?

  Manage the sales process and pipeline in the global regions.

  Manage the internal sales and value selling training process.

  Responsible for understanding the market dynamics and competitive landscape and to prioritise activities to optimize the profitability of the Howden DDA solutions.

  Engage with key customers and other key stakeholders globally to build relations and networks, ensure customer value, and drive after-sales customer support.

  Capture VOC and engage with the product team to align product roadmap priorities with customer expectations.

  Ownership of the product launch to ensure timely execution and financial benefits are achieved according to projections and adjust launch plan accordingly if not on track.

  Manage the commercial models and ensure DDA solutions are priced correctly to optimize adoption, competitiveness, and profitability.

  Work closely with the regional cross-functional teams to implement product localisation strategies, and optimize local go to market channels (OEMs, distributors, agents, etc.).

  Provide input to product specific marketing collateral and approve product content before release to market.

  Work with other product managers / directors to ensure a balanced DDA solutions portfolio.

  To be successful you should have …

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  Proven experience in commercial leadership roles, with a focus on IIoT or technology-related businesses.

  Knowledge of IoT technologies, applications, and industry trends.

  Exceptional business development and negotiation skills.

  Proficiency in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sales strategies.

  Leadership abilities to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.

  Prior experience in IoT or technology sales and partnerships is a plus.

  Commercial background with sound marketing understanding

  Strategic thinker capable of developing growth strategies for the DDA solution portfolio.

  Team player with proven ability to execute on key metrics and effectively lead teams within matrix organizations.

  Strong communication skills and confidence with executive presentations with the ability to communicate with colleagues and customers at all levels.

  Experience in industrial equipment desirable (Development, Design, Manufacturing or Operations)

  Well-rounded experience – technical, commercial, marketing, engineering, operations

  Familiarity with competing technologies and customer alternatives

  Ability to transform highly ambiguous ideas and market feedback to coherent and easily understandable statements and actions.

  Your Physical Work Environment will require…

  Up to 30% travel. Must be able to travel via air to both international and domestic locations.

  Must be able to do occasional lifting up to 35lbs as regular daily activities.
