Orientation Leaders (OLs) are student workers who help transition new students to Friends University through Fall New Student Orientation. OLs must be available for each of these dates and times in 2024:
• Fall New Student Orientation Development Days:
o Sunday, August 11 from 1- 9 pm
o Monday, August 12 from 9 am-5 pm
o Tuesday, August 13 from 9 am-5 pm
o Wednesday, August 14 from 9 am-5 pm
• Fall New Student Orientation – Thursday, August 15-Sunday, August 18 – all day each day.
Orientation Leaders need to be undergraduate students. OLs will be able to demonstrate the following: initiative, leadership, excellent communication, confidence with public speaking, organization, independence, ability to work in a group, and professionalism. Academic Requirements: must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be in good standing with Friends University.
