We are looking for someone with:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or financial designation is an asset
• 0-2 years’ relevant work experience in fund accounting, securities instruments, settlements, foreign exchange transactions, reconciliations, and investment accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to set, manage and work to the expectation of business unit and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a group dynamic.
• Able to work in rotating shift.
• Experience in using Bloomberg and SimCorp

On the job you will:
• Prepare, verify and organize the information required for the preparation of monthly client reports, management reports and other financial reports.
• Provides accounting, coordination support and servicing activities to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Validate and review the funds’ Net Asset Values.
• Analyzes financial information to ensure adherence to standards which may include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, investment and real estate accounting, preparation of trial balances or financial statements, account reconciliation or net asset value computation, etc.
• Collaborate with colleagues in resolving issues that could arise.
• Implement and validate changes to accounting procedures and update documentation to ensure operational objectives and standards are met.
• Use appropriate judgment in dealing with unexpected issues and requests, demonstrating an ability to prioritize work.
• Participates actively in the realization of the team/department objectives.
• Participate in projects as assigned to develop and implement new systems and products.
