The Full Stack Developer Sr position is a part of a team that maintains and improves multiple mission-critical applications located in the AWS Gov Cloud. The team is fully cloud-based and focuses on the automation of all tasks utilizing a CI/CD pipeline. This pipeline includes an automated transfer of data/projects to multiple domains via a cross-domain solution. The team utilizes agile methodologies to plan projects and tasks and break them down into 2-week sprints. The team is made up of cloud engineers and developers working closely together to complete projects. We are looking for engineers/developers that want to implement and learn cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to support our customer and their multiple national security missions.
This senior-level developer will work with minimal guidance from the Project Manager to accomplish requirements associated with supporting agile development projects. This role is focused on AWS Cloud Java Development. The person will be responsible for managing specific tasks and ensuring solutions and schedules are implemented promptly. They will possess the ability to manage, track and report on the accomplishments of the work assigned.
They will demonstrate proven thorough knowledge and success in a role within a AWS Cloud Development team in the federal government environment. They will provide development support in the areas of application modernization, EXTJS front end development, application O&M, and AWS service implementations.
This position is a hybrid position with two days onsite at our customer’s location in Crystal City and allows for 3 days a week of remote work. Additional onsite days are only required based on mission need.

Here's What You'll Need:
8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).
Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
Experience with EXTJS 7
Senior Level Experience with Java development
Experience with the development of RESTFul Web Services
Experience Developing in the AWS Cloud Environment
Preferred:
Experience with the AWS API
Experience with Postgres and Oracle Databases
Experience with OpenSearch and SOLR
Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools
Excellent written communication skills
Must be able to work in a team environment
