Our ideal Bookkeeper candidate will be able to thrive under tight deadlines with minimal supervision while performing as a self-driven and organized accounting professional. We have a client currently in need of a success-driven Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper position is responsible for overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also supervise the clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Jupiter, Florida area. Act now and apply today!
Your responsibilities in this role
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Operate monthly accounting close
Lead Accounts Receivable
Capable in credit card management and reconciliation
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
More tasks as requested
Keep Accounts Payable up to date
Catalog budget transfers
Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Business license and gross receipts coverage
Requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredExcellent attention to detail
Strong organization skills
Well-founded grasp of Invoice Payment
Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel
Practical knowledge of financial reporting
Experience with ADP - Payroll
Quality experience with QuickBooks Online
General familiarity with client communications
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in Month End Closings
Proven knowledge of Enter Invoices
Foundational knowledge in Process Payroll
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
