　　WHAT DOES A FOOD SERVICE WORKER DO?

　　As a Food Service Worker, you contribute to our mission of keeping school students well-fed. You help with cleaning, food prep, maintenance, and serving. Working in the kitchen, you make sure that items are well-stocked, whether in serving lines, snack bars, or service machines.

　　At different times throughout the day, you can be found cleaning dishes, setting up tables, removing trash, or cleaning the kitchen and storage areas. You also help with large cleaning projects as needed. This position is perfect for you, and you find it rewarding to provide such a variety of services for our schools!

　　Qualifications

　　ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS FOOD SERVICE HELPER JOB?

　　Minimum Requirements

　　● Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　● High school diploma or GED equivalent

　　● At least one (1) year of work experience or documented vocational training sufficient to demonstrate a knowledge of cleaning equipment, food preparation, and general cleaning processes or a suitability for this type of work preferred.

　　● Certain position(s) require a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS’ vehicle insurance policy.
