What you will be doing: *Maintain condition andcleanliness of work area. *Supervise staff and department in manager\'sabsence. *Be aligned with Forbes 4 Star Luxury standards and followsthese standards consistently. *Be fully versed in all cocktails/menusfor outlets, including Blu. *Attend monthly team meetings. *Assistwith on-going training to ensure service standards are being met.*Assist with documenting, coaching and counseling staff. *Interactpositively with guests, including resolving guest complaints and/orproblems and promoting hotel facilities and services. What you\'ll bringto the role: *High school education preferred. Apprenticeship,post-secondary school, or equivalent work experience beneficial.*Management/Leadership experience preferred in similar hotel or resort.2 years in high volume full service hotel, formal dining workexperience, and multiple outlet operations including large banquetfunctions. *Additional language and math skills and basic computerknowledge helpful. *Thorough knowledge of food products, wine andcocktails. *Able to read, write, and speak English to comprehend andcommunicate job functions. *Able to grasp, lift and/or carry, orotherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 200 lbs. on a continuousschedule. *Knowledge of food and labor cost controls, inventory and thecalculation of these controls.
