St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team.
Unit/Position Summary
The EVS/Laundry Services Tech 1, under general supervision, performs general cleaning/laundry services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual incumbents may be responsible for a general overview or may specialize in one or more areas listed below:
Floor Technician:
• Operates and cares for specialized floor equipment.
• Responsible for stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, shampooing, extracting, sweeping, and mopping.
Responsibilities
Handles moderate questions, issues and problems; refers more complex issues to higher levels.
May serve as a role model and mentor to other staff members. May include training.
Recommends process improvements to reduce overall costs.
Subject matter expert in assigned role.
Performs some advanced duties.
Performs cleaning and tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: None
Experience: 6 Months
Licenses/Certifications: Valid drivers license if required to drive
