　　LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in City, State. The position, Hospital Reference Test Clerk, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.

　　Work Schedule: floater position. Hospitals in KY and Southern Indiana.

　　Work Location:. Earliest required time is 7:30 AM-4 PM. Latest shift would be 5 PM-1:30 AM.

　　Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingCommunicate effectively with client office staffResearch, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problemsMeet department activity and production goalsData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesScrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updatedDo spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on client

　　High School Diploma or equivalent1 year relative experience highly preferred (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse/medical/healthcare environment)Previous medical or patient facing healthcare experience is a plusComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Ability to pass a standardized color blind test
