GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level.
Manages inventory through receipt, storage, issue, and accountability of all equipment, material, and commodities (i.e. hygiene products, cuisine ingredients, etc.).
Supervises equipment maintenance and management.
Cleans and organizes storage facilities.
Updates the computer database with all inventory, equipment, and costs.
Develops and maintains the equipment acquisition and replacement plan.
Conducts annual inventories on all equipment and inventories, disposing of old and outdated equipment and inventory.
Researches and maintains a list of suppliers, best pricing, availability, and ordering.
Resolves customer/vendor problems in a positive manner.
Assists in directing personnel and in operating the warehouse management system.
Pick up mail and packages from USPS daily.
Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to those with computer experience including email, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques including sorting and stacking.
Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations.
Knowledge of inventory systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associate's Degree (typically in Finance)
Experience:
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid drivers license
Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a sustained rate.NOTES:
FLSA: Non-Exempt
