DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, you will assist the bureau by supporting the management of all fiscal activities related to the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) supplemental COVID grants, which currently stand at 23 grants totaling over $1.3 billion. Specifically, your duties will include:Preparing salary projections for grant applications and grant redirection requests,Reviewing and approving incoming procurement requests to verify the item is budgeted, the dollar amount is available in the correct budget and the major object, and SAP coding is correct and established,Assisting in the preparation of interagency subgrant funding packages, and monitoring the spend-down of executed subgrants,Monitoring vendor spending summaries for executed contracts,Utilizing SAP Analysis to run monthly grant analysis spending reports, as well as analyzing details of each report to ensure proper spend-down of grant funding, andPreparing expenditure adjustments and contractual amendments to reallocate funding.Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: Under the current Administration, this position may have the opportunity to work from home (telework).
