DBASuburban Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance located at 1604 East End AveChicago Heights, IL 60411, (708) 799-6228 is seeking 5 temporaryfull-time First-line Supervisors of Landscaping, Lawn Service, andGroundskeeping Workers to work at 1604 East End Avenue Chicago Heights,IL, Cook County, 60411, from 04/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 to Directlysupervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in landscaping orgroundskeeping activities. Work will involve reviewing landscaping jobsto ascertain service, machine, and workforce requirements; answeringinquiries from potential customers regarding methods, material, andcosts; and instructing workers on techniques and safety. Reporting andcoordinating crew logistics with office staff and superiors. Must beable to lift and carry 75 lbs 25 yds and handle extreme temperatures. Noprior education or experience is required. On the job, training will beprovided. \$26.08/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, from Monday to Saturday7:00am - 5:00pm. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised.The wage rate may vary on experience and/or merit. \$39.12/hr forovertime. Up to 10 hours of overtime may be available but notguaranteed. All deductions from the workers paycheck will be made asrequired by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standardfor computing wages and pay Weekly by check. Any advances will bededucted with the consent of the employee. In the first workweek, thecost of transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary,lodging) to the place of employment will be directly reimbursed to everyworker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period,the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation andsubsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Uponcompletion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonablecosts of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the placethe worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer or where theemployer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment ofemployment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement willbe equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for thedistances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travelto the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least\$15.46/day to a maximum of \$59.00/day with receipts. Also, workerswill be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing,border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers atno charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform thejob.
