　　Firefighter I / Engineer

　　High School Diploma/equivalent and completion of the Firefighter Trainee Program or equivalent program.

　　Must possess Firefighter I, Vehicle Extrication Technician, and Hazardous Material Operations, and CPR certifications.

　　Must possess a valid State of Tennessee Driver’s license

　　Firefighter II / Engineer

　　High School Diploma/equivalent and one (1) year experience in fire suppression.

　　Must possess Firefighter II, Vehicle Extrication Technician, and Hazardous Materials Technician, and CPR certifications.

　　Must possess a valid State of Tennessee Driver’s license.

　　Firefighter I / EMT

　　High School Diploma/equivalent and completion of the Firefighter Trainee Program or equivalent program.

　　Firefighter Trainee

　　The trainee position learns firefighting skills and related rescue techniques in a classroom and practical environment for up to two (2) years, or when the trainee demonstrates the ability to use fire suppression, emergency medical service skills, and the maintenance of apparatus and equipment in accordance with department standards; and has successfully obtained required.

　　Firefighter Trainee, no experience; $39,341.12 per year.

　　Firefighter I; $40,447.68 per year Firefighter II; $41,292.16 per year

　　Firefighter I EMT; $44,640.96 per year Firefighter II EMT; $45,514.56 per year

　　Firefighter I Paramedic; $49,067.70 per year Firefighter II Paramedic; $50,057.28 per year
