　　Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a Fire Inspector . 　　The Fire Inspector is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. The Fire inspector administratively and operationally reports to the Senior Fire Marshals. The Fire inspector also performs scheduled walk through fire and life safety inspections of all World Bank Group owned/leased facilities by interpreting and applying the subject matter of International and National Fire/Sprinkler codes, while also enforcing Bank standards, policies, and procedures

　　1 year or more with experience in Fire life and Safety highly preferred

　　$27.30/hour

　　QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

　　Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

　　Plans Examiner I certification preferred

　　Fire inspector Level 1 certification preferred

　　NICET Level I Certification in the design of fire alarm or water-based fire protection systems preferred

　　NICET Level I Certification in Inspection preferred

　　Must be able to obtained needed certifications within the first 12 months of employment.

　　Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

　　At least 1 years’ work experience in a technical or Fire Safety or related field with Fire Inspector 1 certification preferred.

　　Must be a team player and responsive to the operational needs, goals, and objectives of Corporate Security and other members within the Bank’s Environment

　　Must have current CPR/AED Certification

　　As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

　　Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

　　Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

　　Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

　　Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

　　Able to:

　　Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

　　Occasionally lift or carry up to 80 pounds

　　Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

　　Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
