Description: Performs basic Accounting functions including compilation of financial information, journal entry processing, reconciliations and the analysis of data. Records, classifies and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals. Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts. Reconciles accounts as required and resolves differences. Provides financial information as required to management. Uses various software applications such as Excel and Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) to provide supporting documentation for schedules, data analysis and journal entries. Performs analysis on various accounts such as accounts receivable and accounts payable.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　BS or MS degree in Accounting. Entry level.

　　Desired Skills:

　　Strong Excel skills, working knowledge of basic accounting functions including compilation of financial information, journal entry processing, reconciliations, and the analysis of data. Relevant intern/college work study experience preferred. Knowledge of Missiles and Fire Control account structure and SAP. CPA or CPA candidate.

　　Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

　　Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

　　Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
