JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bank of Luxemburg is hiring a full time FinancialAdvisor II. This position will work primarily from our main office inLuxemburg. This position will work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasionalevening appointments as needed. Position Summary: Sell investment andinsurance services to clients and provides assistance to otherinvestment representatives on sales ideas and training. Develop andmaintain the highest standards of customer service with both bankemployees and bank customers. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: 1.Conducts Investment and Insurance Sales A. Make initial contact ofpotential clients through phone, mail, workshops and set appointments.B. Interview potential clients assessing investment and insurance needs.C. Provide suggestions of products, course of action and provides clientwith relevant information. D. Write up sales based on suggestions,complete application, collect payment, directing information to officemanager for processing and tracking. E. Follow up with periodic reviewof accounts, ensuring that adequate customer service is provided byinforming customer of current market trends and recommending investmentand insurance strategies. F. Support administrative office personnel. 3.Promote Business Development A. Support company\'s goals and objectives,assists branches in obtaining new relationships. B. Assist and supportin the implementation of all marketing and sales strategies designed tomaximize growth and profitability. C. Cross sell and refers a full rangeof investment and banking services to present and potential customers.D. Support and assist in the implementation of all bank marketing andsales strategies designed to maximize growth and profitability. E. Keepinformed on changes within our market, recommending market opportunitiesfor growth and development. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Keeps abreast of key economic data and regulatory changes which mayimpact the financial performance of the Bank. 2. Maintains up-to-datejob knowledge through professional reading and affiliation withappropriate industry organizations. 3. Performs other duties as may benecessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. WorkRelationships and Scope: Has regular contact with all personnel. Hascontact with vendors, consultants, regulators, government agencies andother outside parties. Has access to highly confidential customer,financial and general Bank/RJD information. Has certain security, lockup and oversight responsibilities. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Business or finance degree and three to five year\'ssales experience in insurance and securities or equivalent experience(five to seven years experience in insurance and securities. Series 7 &63 and life and health insurance licenses required or ability to attainlicensing in six months. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) andRegistered Investment Advisor (RIA), is desired. Previous supervisorexperience required. Ability to work with all levels within theorganization and make appropriate recommendations. Ability tocommunicate effectively with people both internally and externally.Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at one time; flexible;adaptable. Understanding of and concurrence with bank philosophy.Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with all types of people.Demonstrated ability to obtain cooperation from others and build a senseof teamwork. Previous training and mentoring experience desired. Must beself-motivated, sales oriented, and possess excellent communicationskills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
