  Location/Division Specific Information

  Within our Laboratory Equipment Division, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer for general laboratory equipment, monitoring system and sample preparation and analysis system, and if required extending to other product lines.

  In the position of Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and build service excellence above our customer expectations.

  Job Duties:

  Represents our company in a positive, professional manner in all dealing with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.Own and deliver service commitments and execute on installations, calibrations, preventative maintenance, training and repairs.Responsible for providing services remote or at site within the agreed conditions; sets the right priorities.Service reporting, documentation and creation of procedure/protocols for internal and customer needs.Maintain high level of customer allegiance by building strong customer relationships and promoting on excellent customer experience.Partner with our commercial colleagues to deliver customer deals that can be implemented profitably and meet/exceed customer expectationsResponsible for optimisation and accuracy of the provided tools and consignment parts.Involve in continuous improvement through our Practical Process Improvement Business System

  Keys to Success:

  Education

  High Diploma or above in Engineering or other related discipline.

  Experience

  3 years or above relevant work experience.Candidate with less experience or fresh graduate with positive & willing to learn attitudes will also be considered

  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral in Chinese and English. Mandarin is an advantage.Ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues in difficult and stressful situationsGreat teammate with strong desire to success and result orientedGood verbal and written communications skills related to technical approaches, work performed, test results, and findings.Customer friendliness and professional attitudeHave strong electrical or mechanical background for troubleshooting/repair, and problem solving abilitiesPC literacy including MS Office and Outlook.
