General Job Function:The Field Engineerposition will be responsible for the planning and field implementation of work related to Reactor Component Upgrades Project Execution and Delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):Work with the team of engineers and project managers on a variety of technical/mechanical engineering projects. Work will include repairs and extensions of reactor internals and head packages.Physical manipulation of underwater objects with precision & skill.Involved in equipment design, qualifying equipment and writing procedures.Travel to customer sites around the world to service the reactor componentsLeading a crew at customer sites as shift supervisorHigh level of attention to detailWillingness & ability to promptly report issuesCapable of assuming increased responsibility with training/experienceStrong skills & knowledge in mechanical engineering/mechanical aptitude is preferred
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:Education Level(Degree, Area of Study) - Minimum Requirement:Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.Years of Experience(if applicable): 1-3 years of relevant or similar work experience is preferred/new engineering graduates will also be considered

Familiarity with utility business practices including knowledge of utility operations, maintenance and engineering practices, knowledge of procurement processes and material management are desirable but not mandatory.
