What’s a typical day as a Fiber Optic Technician? You’ll be:

Responsible for the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines

Making complex repairs and major adjustments to assembly equipment, including set-ups and changeovers

Performing quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP), documenting specified measurements per print at required intervals

Performing daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a minimum of 1 year of soldering experience

Are J-STD-001 certified (soldered electrical and electronic assemblies' certification)

Have knowledge of company policies and procedures

Can recognize the need for deviation from established procedures where necessary
