This position will be responsible for federal proposal pricing and contractadministration of federal client contracts. The position will work with theProject Manager and other team members to prepare federally compliant costproposals and rate schedules and manage other contractual requirements throughthe life of the contract.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Federal Contract Administrator , we'll count on you to:Reviews client solicitation for contractual requirements and prepares requireddocumentation.Prepares Excel templates for building rate schedules and costproposals in response to federal client requirements.Reviews rate and costinformation to ensure federally compliant rates and other data are current,accurate and complete.Develops, maintains, and keeps current all electronic contractdocumentation in a concise, organized manner.Performs day-to-day contract administration duties such as reviewing andcoordinating contract documents for signature, managing FAR clauserequirements, entering data into forms, and managing contract data in theaccounting system.Ensures timely response to customer and program issues; provides contractualadvice to the project team and supporting departments.Facilitates issues and required documentation to ensure a timely response tothe customer or other internal/external clients.Builds strong relationships with the project team and within the supportingdepartments (accounting, legal, insurance) and regularly communicatesstatus of requirements and deadlines.Supports HDR Operations Management and acts as point of contact with clientContracting Officers.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.QualificationsRequired QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of contracts or related experienceWorking knowledge of contracting concepts and company and client requirementsProfessional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with theflexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in afast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management,and externally to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal managementoversightProficient with Microsoft Office software, including complex Excelspreadsheets with formulasExcellent writing and people skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsUS CitizenshipAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culturePreferred QualificationsBachelors degree is desired, but years of experience may substitute for degreeMinimum of three (3) years of government contracts and/or proposalpricing experienceExperience with government contracting regulations, including FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition RegulationsSupplement (DFARS).Have a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to plan andmanage multiple tasks often within highly demanding time fr mes.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also aboutwhat you do and how you do it.
