　　Through research programs funded by science and technology R&D organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense, the research and development team in FAST Labs collaborate across the enterprise. On this team, you'll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities in the areas of advanced electronics, autonomy, cyber, electronic warfare, and sensors and processing.

　　In this role, you will:Work with a cross-functional team under the guidance and mentorship of a Principle Investigator to demonstrate the solutions to some of the United States' most pressing problems.As part of the Fast Labs Engineering team work closely with the Sensor Technologies (ST) product line which is focused on developing next-generation capabilities for the Warfighter.Participate in the creations of state of the art EOIR Systems.Support the development of advanced concepts and techniques and apply expert knowledge to all aspects of the Integration and Test phase of the EOIR programs.Perform on an IV&V team through I&T activities and/or field-testingAnalyzing and Report information in the EO/IR domain using MATLAB

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Hold an active or recently inactivated DoD Secret clearanceExperience testing large integrated systems to include EO/IR and payload components.Successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, problem solving skills demonstrated by analytical ability to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision. Position requires excellent oral and written communications skills. The candidate must have developed communication skills to exchange complex technical information with a diverse group of stakeholders.Experienced in modeling and simulation experience in EO/IR sensors and weapon systems, including the development of high-fidelity digital system models6+ Years with BS in a technical engineering discipline or Physics (or equivalent)

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Experience testing EO/IR concepts such as closed loop pointing and control, gimbal control, lasers, precision pointing of laser beams, performance testing of optical components and subsystems, and fiber optic communications.Proficiency with MATLABExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) & Model Based Engineer (MBE) techniques Airborne platform IV&V experience.Space platform IV&V experience.

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $109120 - $185460

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
