　　Minimum Qualifications One year of service as a Facility Operations Assistant 1 or Motor Vehicle Operator. OR Two years of full-time, verifiable experience in custodial, grounds, or maintenance operation or assisting in a journey-level trade. When required to operate motor vehicles, incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.Application Process: Candidates are required to provide specific, verifiable information about their qualifying experience with the Application for Posted Position (ADM 227). 　　Duties Description This position is located within the Consolidated Warehousing & Distribution Operations of the NYS OGS Support Services program area. Duties may include but are not limited to:• Operate a variety of manual and self-propelled material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and machines in connection with the receiving, storing, repackaging, and shipping of USDA foods.• Locate USDA foods by code, name, pack date and move appropriate amounts to an assembly or staging area to re-palletize the order into a compact shipping module for shipment.• Transfer of USDA foods from one storage location to another.• Verify monthly distribution amounts to be released to customers.• Take preliminary inventories and inspect USDA foods for damage, weight, or improper storage and handling. Report discrepancies immediately to the appropriate supervisor.• Perform other duties and special projects as required.

　　Additional Comments • One year of practical experience in performing general construction or maintenance tasks preferred.• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.Downstate: Location Pay of $3,087
