　　This position is a multi-skilled position in installation, maintenance,repair, and upkeep of the Physical Plant operations and grounds of theWichita Work Release Facility. Through collaboration with the WCF/WWRFPhysical Plant Supervisor Senior, the incumbent will ensure allmaintenance operations are conducted in a professional manner, aligningthe mission of the Wichita Work Release Facility and the KansasDepartment of Corrections.

　　Ensure facility building, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems arefunctioning well, utilizing preventative maintenance to avoid costlyrepairs.

　　Oversee tool control

　　Assist in preparation of facility operating budget

　　Respond to staff work orders and general facility needs

　　Procure materials and supplies for projects within applicable budgetrestraints

　　Determine needs and plans for maintenance or repair projects

　　Develop facility vehicle maintenance schedule; inspect and assist inmaintaining cleanliness of vehicles

　　Assure the continual and accurate control of caustic and hazardousmaterials

　　Supervise and guide residents in maintaining building plumbing,electrical, and HVAC systems, and in minor vehicle maintenance/repair

　　Maintain property inventory

　　Schedule outside vendors for major and routine services
