East Cambridge Savings Banks Facilities Department is activelyrecruiting for a Part Time Facilities Maintenance Coordinator Function:Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice President - Purchasingand Facilities Manager, assists in organizing and coordinating theactivities of facilities, maintenance and overall appearance for allBank locations and ATM facilities. We are looking for candidates with: Avalid drivers license with a good Registry of Motor Vehicles report Highschool diploma or G.E.D. equivalent 3 years general Facilitiesexperience Ability to travel to all locations, and as needed, respond toafter-hours calls on-site in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills Basic computer skills which includes having theability to respond to emails and utilize the internet as needed. Abilityto lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work additional hours asneeded. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for general maintenance,upkeep and preservation of all of the Bank facilities, grounds, andfacility equipment. Assists with managing outside contractorswhichincludes monitoring work through completion, maintaining records andcontracts. Performs minor repairs to buildings, replaces light bulbs,adjusts equipment, paints, etc. Maintains clean and safe facilities atall times which includes sidewalks during winter months, activatingsidewalk heating system, shoveling, and spreading snow melt. Assistswith negotiating contracts and evaluating performance of servicers andvendors including snow removal, ground maintenance, trash disposal, etc.Makes recommendations to AVP-Purchasing and Facilities Manager forchanges as needed. Conducts ongoing preventive maintenance programsthrough various service contracts on major equipment. ProvidesAVP-Purchasing and Facilities Manager with information necessary forservice contract negotiation. Assists with the Banks record retentionprogram. Transports records to be stored in the records room and obtainsapproval from the respective Department Manager. Labels records fordestruction, verifies destruction date and coordinates the destructionof Bank files as needed. In the absence of the AVP - Purchasing andFacilities Manager, monitors bank wide purchasing and facilitiesprojects, keeping senior management informed of status. Assists withcreating the annual budget and monitoring expenses throughout the yearto ensure that costs for supplies, electricity, gas water, contracts,postage and services are within budgetary guidelines. Responsible forensuring that the Operations Center and Main Office buildings are openedfollowing established security procedures as needed. Keeps abreast ofvarious laws and regulations regarding OSHA, ADA, various health codes,etc. Informs AVP-Purchasing and Facilities Manager of potentialcompliance issues at any of the Banks facilities. Responsible forresponding to incoming calls on Bank cell phone in regards toemergencies and facilities requests/inquiries. Coordinates mail pickupfrom postal service and distributes to internal Departments or BankingCenters as needed. Other Job Responsibilities: Performs relatedadministrative and facilities duties as required. Performs relatedcustodial work as required.
