WPEC in West Palm Beach, Florida has an immediate opening for Executive Producer to oversee news content for overall production value, engagement, accuracy and fairness.

　　CBS 12 is a collaborative, team-driven newsroom dedicated to serving our audience in the Palm Beaches, the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee.

　　To provide the information they need to prepare and protect themselves and their families.

　　Executive Producer duties include, but are not limited to: Work with newscast producers in your daypart to build impactful shows and produce-up exclusive content. Target stories for promotion before and after (PoP) the shows. Work with field crews to shape and refine their stories as well as reviewing and approving final script copy, breakouts, etc. Coordinate response to breaking news in your daypart with other mgrs and field crews. Collaborate with News Director and other news managers on special programming as needed. Hand-off to next EP and other stakeholders to ensure coverage continuity through subsequent dayparts. The Successful Candidate:

　　Track record of creating compelling and engaging content across platforms Can execute under pressure with confidence and calm.
