Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Executive - Creatives & Visual Merchandise at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:•
Execution of all Visual Merchandise projects including product launch and store display
Conceptualize and implement window dressings and presentation of store displays and window dressing to help stimulate guest sales activity.
Implementation of floor sets, store bubble plans, SKU to fixture plan / planogram, merchandise flows and product placement within each retail store.
Responsible for budget planning, ordering, and tracking of all visual merchandise expenditure on props, decorations and display for each season or event.
Maintain good store Visual Merchandising standards and providing training to store team.
Monitor product sales performance and make changes to store displays if necessary.
Design store interior display visuals and ensure that all Visual Merchandising visuals are approved by respective IPs / Motiongate marketing before implementation.
Ensure proper Procurement process and procedures are followed
Ensure that Visual Merchandising Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are adhered
Ensures that Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are adhered
Keep up with new visual merchandising trends and standards in the industry
Ensure that productivity and service delivery of the department is improved on continuous basis by keeping team members motivated and retained.
Learn, Practice and Adhere all related safety procedure related to job and work area. Knowing and Following the advised restrictions and limitations in performing the job.
Establish and follow good housekeeping practices.
Follow the use of equipment, machines, and tools safely. Keeping all work areas clear of clutter.
Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product and review existing designs to meet the team’s, IPs’, and customers’ expectations
Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts
Support manufacturing and design activities by developing functional product prototypes.
Present product ideas to Retail Director & relevant team members for brainstorming
Demonstrate pro-activeness in sourcing new ideas by captivating inspiration from international market and theme parks across the Globe.
Liaise with vendors for all designing requirements and approval process, suggest improvements to design and overall product quality.
Ensure that Product Approval Procedures (SOP) are adhered from concept stage until product is approved for production and shelf display
Coordinate with IPs for technical and administrative requirements and operate data/asset management systems.
Ensures Product Design and Branding updates are implemented and must adhere to Style Guides developed by IPs and brand managers.
Ensures that labels, tags, packaging & promotional literature match product specifications
Supervise product design and other forms of marketing to maintain consistency in branding. Develop ranges that are commercial, customer focused, on trend and in line with the theme.
Understand and determine product specifications and applications to determine expected quality and functionality
Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
Education Qualification:
Degree in Arts, Design or Visual Merchandising
Computer literate in both windows and mac: Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and basic knowledge in all other creative suite application
Should possess technical knowledge for product development and sourcing
Graphic Designer
Experience:
3 years visual merchandising experience in Retail Environment
Hands on experience in store setup and window displays
Hands on with graphic designs.
Preferably has theme park retail operations experience
Skills:
Effective oral and written communications skills in English
Have a flair for design and colors'
Be creative, imaginative, and energetic and interested in arts, crafts, and design
Organized and able to multi-tasking
Ability to communicate in Arabic.
