  What You'll Do

  Together, we’re embarking on a journey to reset and reinvigorate Gap Inc., focused on driving brand relevancy, advancing core capabilities and creative excellence, right sizing our cost structure, and cultivating teams that are aligned, accountable, empowered and energized – setting us up for success, not just in the year ahead, but for years to come. The Chief Business and Strategy Officer of Gap Inc is looking for an Assistant who is up for the task and can work closely and effectively with him to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. This is a great opportunity to establish working relationships with high-level executives and this position offers an exciting opportunity to understand our business strategy and performance on a global scale.

  Acts as liaison between executive and direct reports.

  Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

  Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature.

  Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects, concurrently, with tight deadlines.

  May provide immediate supervision or guidance to a group of Administrative Assistants. Most of the time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the executive.

  Responsibilities may include calendar management, making appointments, answering phones, making travel arrangements, file maintenance, maintaining and ordering office supplies and equipment, processing mail, copying, scheduling, and planning meetings (meeting room, flip charts etc.) and processing expense reports.

  Who You Are

  Ability to problem solve independently and through strong partnerships with business partners across the globe; thrives in a dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and agility

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and build partnerships with all levels of management.

  Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must (particularly in Excel where pivot tables and v-lookups will be used extensively)

  Attention to detail, strong time management, and self starter attitude are key skills for success in this role

  Extremely organized to maintain accurate information when handling multiple high priority projects simultaneously.

  Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience of which 3 years includes supporting senior management/ executives.

  Salary Range: $109,500 - $145,000 USD

  Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
