  The Washington Hilton is looking for their next Events and Catering Administrative Assistant to join their Events Department

  The Washington Hilton (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/dcawhhh-washington-hilton/) is located less than 2 miles away from The White House and National Mall. Our 118,000 square feet of event space is carefully laid out over three floors. Highlights include a pillarless ballroom with rigging for lights, a private lounge with luxury seating, and an outdoor courtyard area complete with a firepit.

  Shift Pattern: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Monday-Friday

  Pay Rate: $20.00-22.00 per hour - final offer based on experience

  What would I be doing?

  As an Administrative Assistant, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Events and Catering Department in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

  Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  Perform word-processing, typing, e-mailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail, other general office tasks as requiredAssist and respond to client/colleague requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerFile creation, organization and managementAnswer telephones, perform email correspondence (via Outlook)Make travel/transportation arrangementsCreation and execution of amenity requestsCreation and distribution of BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as neededWhat are we looking for?
