Equipment Operator Salary: $40,040.00Grant County Highway Department is taking applications for the position of Equipment Operator.The duties of this position include but not limited to:Operating heavy machinery, hauling various types of material to and from job sites.Plow snow and sand/salt roads when directed. Repair and maintain roads in the county.Cutting trees and brush, mowing and weed eating roadsides.Along with other various jobs.Ability to work well alone and with others.Must have or be able to obtain a Class A (minimum) Commercial Drivers License with manual endorsement within 45 days of hire date.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Full time position is 40 hours per week, the ability to work overtime when required.Benefits include vacation, personal and sick time, uniforms, life insurance, retirement and health insurance.
