　　Position: Accountant – Construction Equipment

　　Report to: Sr Accountant – Construction Equipment

　　Job Description Overview

　　The Equipment Accountant will help the Kwest Group’s leadership team analyze the economic health of the organization, through accurate and timely financial reports and counsel. As a member of the Accounting team, the primary responsibilities of this position are to carry out equipment costing duties, as well as to assist with preparation of financial statements.

　　Responsibilities

　　Equipment Invoice Entry

　　Equipment Purchase Orders

　　Analyze cost and make sure coded to proper categories.

　　Under-Utilization Entries

　　Fuel Cards

　　Track, Monitor, and Maintain

　　Monthly Allocations

　　Track and Monitor Vehicle Allowance and Compliance

　　EZ Pass Management

　　Equipment Budgets

　　Monitor, Respective Journal Entries

　　Tracking Equipment Leases, Loans, Purchasing

　　Fixed Assets

　　Track and confer with Auditors.

　　Depreciation

　　Assist in the development of internal rates.

　　IFTA Tax Tracking and Quarterly Filing

　　Cost Savings Analysis & Reporting

　　Track and Monitor Equipment Damage

　　Requirements and Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Business, or equivalent hands-on experience

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

　　Must be able to pass a background & drug test.

　　Ability to travel to client meetings, conferences, and regional/divisional offices.

　　Travel may include air travel and overnight hotel stays.
