Project Details:
Address environmental issues by identifying short-term andlong-range issues that must be addressed; provide information andcommentary pertinent to deliberations; recommend options and coursesof action; implement directives.Gather environmental data by applying agriculture, chemistry,meteorology, and engineering principles.Determine characteristics or composition of solid, liquid, orgaseous materials and substances by conducting chemical, physical,laboratory, and field tests, using ph meter, chemicals, autoclaves,centrifuge spectrophotometer, microscope, analyticalinstrumentation, and chemical laboratory equipment.Evaluate atmospheric pollutants by collecting and analyzing samplesof gases from smokestacks; gather other air samples andmeteorological data.Assess water pollutants by collecting and analyzing water samplesfrom streams and lakes, raw, semiprocessed or processed water, andindustrial waste water.Determine chemical composition and nature of land pollutants bycollecting and analyzing soil, silt, and mud.Maintain environmental data base by developing informationrequirements; design an information system.Prepare summaries and charts by gathering and testing samples;analyze and summarize findings and trends.Maintain gas and fluid flow systems, chemical reaction systems,mechanical equipment, and other test instrumentation by installing,operating and completing preventive maintenance requirements.Follow manufacturer\'s instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions;maintain equipment inventories; evaluate new equipment andtechniques.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations.Complete research by conducting bacteriological and other tests.Maintain the stability and reputation of the organization bycomplying with legal and waste management requirements.Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed toaccomplish job results.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attendingeducational workshops; review professional publications; establishpersonal networks; participate in professional societies.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded.Job Experience:
