　　The Sanctuary at Brooklyn Center is now hiring! Located conveniently in Brooklyn Center, MN The Sanctuary offers 130 Assisted Living and 28 Memory Care units.

　　The Environmental Services Directo r is responsible for general oversight and maintenance of Assisted living/Memory Care property including all major utility, life safety, grounds, housekeeping, and security systems. Plans and manages all aspects of building operations. This is a full time position which will includeweekends as necessary as well ason callfor after hours emergencies. 　　The Sanctuary of Brooklyn Center is managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota’s largest senior housing operator. We are located near public transportation and crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center, MN. The Sanctuary provides programming around our residents emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs. Our Brooklyn Center community host 158 units in combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care. 　　Responsibilities/Job Description

　　Providesgeneral oversight and maintenance of property,including all major utility, life safety and security systems.

　　Monitors condition of & forecasts need for repairs/ replacement of HVAC, energy management, life safety, security, fire, elevators, electrical and plumbing systems.

　　Manages preventative maintenance services/contractsin accordance withindividual facility guidelines.

　　Overseespurchasingactivities for maintenance and housekeeping supplies within budgetary guidelines andoverseepayment of bills per facility practices.

　　Ability to secure bids for capital improvementsin accordance withfacility guidelines.

　　Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff.

　　Hire, train/coach, and discipline maintenance and housekeeping staff.

　　Schedule staff and manage daily workload (as needed) for thetimelycompletion of work orders and apartment turnovers.

　　Ensurestimelyand efficient turnover of apartments

　　Communicates effectively with team to discuss needs

　　Performs and/or coordinates painting, cleaning, carpeting and apartment updates

　　Keeps Executive Director current on stats of apartment turnover and needs

　　Provides24/7 emergency On-Call response per rotating schedule.

　　Schedules staff toprovide24/7 emergency Maintenance coverage, including self.

　　Ability and willingness to support other on-call staff on an “as needed” basis.

　　Promotes a safe environment for staff,tenantsand visitors.

　　Identifiesconcerns through regular inspection ofbuildingand grounds.

　　Leads or co-leads Safety Committee per facility guidelines.

　　Conducts and tracks community emergency drills

　　Qualifications

　　Required

　　Three to five years Multi-housing maintenance experience

　　Ability to troubleshoot appliances/plumbing/electrical/carpentry issues

　　Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

　　Preferred

　　Experience working with seniors in an Assisted Living

　　Vocational/Technical Training orAssociate Degree–Industrial energy or related field
