Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As an Environmental Service Associate, you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities: Provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. Clean, sanitize and empty trash in hallways, patient rooms, breakrooms, and offices. Sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver all patient personal laundry daily. Maintain housekeeping chemicals in their appropriate storage areas. Report all facility repairs to Maintenance upon observation. Performs other duties as assigned. FTE: 0.2; 8 hours per week Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 730am-4pm Salary: Starting rate at $16.66/hour. Pay rate is based off previous housekeeping/custodial work experience. Required Qualifications: Must to be able to read, speak and understand English clearly Union Position: Yes Benefits: Benefits are available for non-union staff working 24 hours (0.6 FTE) or union staff working 30 hours (0.75 FTE) per week and are effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
