Environment Specialist

　　The Environment Specialist is a global role with responsibility of tracking progress and contribute to development of the company's environment strategy, programs and targets; support CDP, Ecovadis, customer enquiries and related submissions; coordinate with different stakeholders to drive the sustainability initiatives.

　　The role will report to the Sustainability Manager and this position is open for Bangalore location.

　　Job Requirement

　　Education: Engineering Degree in Environmental/Chemical or related field. Experience Required: 7-10 years of experience in an Environment sustainability-related projects at a global level. Experience in handling Energy, Water and Waste related projects and ISO 50001/ 14001 implementation. Sound knowledge and experience on CDP, Ecovadis, GRI, LCA, Scope1,2&3 methodology, ESG, REC & PPA, Virtual PPA's Strong communicator with the ability to interface with key stakeholders to drive the programs and initiatives. Analytical, organised and focused on details and ability to identify trends and gaps and ability to identify and implement the solutions. Have sound knowledge in presentation skills and hands on experience in advanced excel. Experience in project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Positive attitude and willingness to embrace change. Global mindset and team player.

　　Roles & Responsibility

　　Be an active contributor to the continuous improvement activities in the operational category on Energy, Carbon, Waste and Water by collecting and providing best practise examples, insights, analytics and supporting data. Drive the end to end process for energy projects implementation. Drive energy reduction project on EU mandate and lead environment related projects including ESG studies with external agencies to set company's long-term targets. Support the operational projects, owning coordination of data delivery and collection of data from sites/functional members. Coordinate and manage all the customer enquiries and respond on time. Support Environment reporting to prepare for the annual EcoVadis questionnaire, annual CDP climate change, GHG assurance, Validation of the data, CDP water security and other ESG rating questionnaires. Support Environment team to continuously drive improvement of the sustainability related programs and activities. Provide technical support for sustainability programs or issues, creating and maintaining plans and other documents related to sustainability projects. Provide technical support for ISO 50001, Energy, Water and Waste projects and coordinate with functional teams to drive the reduction programs. Track and ensure to comply with the national and international regulations for energy, water and waste. Audit the sites on the environmental procedures and support for the closure of the open corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices, implement processes to reduce the footprint. Support in the implementation of the digitization projects, dashboards, analytics and other projects.
