　　Title: Engineering Product Manager – Hydrogen

　　Location: 1940 Air Products Boulevard, Allentown, PA 18106

　　Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is looking for someone to lead cross functional teams to develop and deploy into bids and projects standard hydrogen production plants that have an average annual capital spend of $100 Million USD to $500 Million USD per year. Leads and performs engineering duties by planning and designing new product lines. Leverages knowledge in mechanical engineering to drive world class product competitiveness of Air Products' world-scale Green Hydrogen Liquefier Product Line and Offgas Plant Products. Supports product management for other product plants including Steam Methane Reformers, Gasifiers, and other Blue and Green Hydrogen Technologies. Lead engineers, business area representatives, operation excellence representatives, and other personnel to align the product plant pipeline of technology programs in support of the Product Development Road map; support product line sustainment activities including use of continuous improvement tools and methods; and support product tool development. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical product lines, including identifying and developing new product lines with multi-year product road maps to create market supporting products; support product design integration to improve product reuse and reduce manpower needed for design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities; plan and execute product programs with detailed scope of work, schedule, and budgets; and report on program activities and prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.

　　Requirements:

　　• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.

　　• 7 years of experience with skid/cryogenic equipment design with instrumentation and mechanical equipment which includes Pumps, Motors, Heat Exchangers, Filters, Strainers, Control Valves, pressure relief devices, Expansion Tank, Chilled Cooling water towers and Cooling Water Piping Distribution; and requirements for piping systems, reading P&IDs and process flow diagrams.

　　• 7 years of experience in piping design, manual valve specification, flow and pressure drop calculation for compressible and incompressible fluids used in Cryogenic Plants, and Hydrogen Steam Methane Reformer Plants.

　　• 7 years of experience in Oxidizer material selection (ASME standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, B16.5, B16.9, B16.11, B16.34), API Standards (API 594, 598, 600), ASTM Materials and Crane T410 technical paper.

　　• 5 years of experience with Hexagon Smart Plant software tools including (SPPID, SP3D) , Product Line Portal, and OpenText to enable product development and deployment into bids and projects.

　　• 5 years of experience with project planning and scheduling which includes leading teams by creating and maintaining logical project timelines that have met safety, cost, and schedule targets..
