Our Faade Engineering practice provides consulting services toarchitects, building owners, and developers. Our suite of specialtyanalyses helps solve complex design challenges, improvesconstructability, maximizes energy efficiency, and increases security.We offer a range of services for the full building life cycle to helpclients execute ambitious architectural visions. Our consulting servicesinclude materials research, specialty analyses, detailed design,engineering and construction support, and glass and faade failureinvestigations. Nearly two-thirds of the facades we design andengineer are based on customized systems that involved uniquecombinations of materials.
The Role
We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer Intern for our FaadePractice.
Responsibilities
Responsible for structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel,concrete, masonry, and timber systems.Coordination of design work with in-house staff as we as otherdesign professionals including Architects and other Engineeringdisciplines.Preparation of construction documents within a BIM environment.Requirements
Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration inengineering or architecture.Excellent academic record.Experience in Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD is helpful but not required.Benefits
