What You\'ll Do? Emergency Services, aLevel II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centeredenvironment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including tenUrgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, andthree dedicated Behavioral Health rooms. Patients have 24-hour access tolaboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a Stroke Centerwith 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. As an EMTyou play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day byserving our patients in a safe environment promoting long-term recovery.In this department, EMTs are expected to perform with a high degree ofclinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care aspart of a professional multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs,Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, andSocial Workers.
