　　Job Overview

　　TE Connectivity's Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

　　What your background should look like:

　　Mobility and willingness to travel (up to 60% from the time internationally)2+years of management/project management experience in a production environmentPrior experience in molding and automotive projects/productionStrong communication skills in English (B2; intermediate level both verbal and written)Lean and value stream-oriented thinking is a big advantage.Cost calculation capabilities/Budgeting experience is an advantage.

　　Ensures that EMEA's molding departments are technically and technologically positioned to be a source of competitive advantage and can deliver the long term (5+ years) performance needed by the business.Optimization and standardization of Tyco molding processes within EMEAMonitoring, controlling and reporting of running projects with an international scopeCustomize the projects to plant individual needs. Developing of new concepts for molding processes with other departments (Tooling, Manufacturing, Center of Excellence) Rolling out best practices and projects across multiple EMEA locationsDeveloping and rolling-out molding strategies, footprint optimization and roadmapsCollecting and providing all needed basic production equipment data e.g. machinery and equipment details (specs, condition and aging information etc.)Driving initiatives for plant productivity increase, automation, material saving, and cost reductionSupporting the manufacturing management in terms of budgeting
